Unter Minimaler Resterkrankung (MRD) versteht man eine kleine Anzahl residualler leuk\u00e4mischer oder solider Tumorzellen, die w\u00e4hrend oder nach der Behandlung im Patienten verbleiben, auch wenn sich der Patient in Remission befindet, d.h. keine Symptome oder Anzeichen einer Erkrankung mehr zeigt. Die MRD ist die Hauptursache f\u00fcr rezidivierende Tumoren nach abgeschlossener Behandlung. Besonders einzigartig sind die verf\u00fcgbaren hoch-multiplexen Real Time-PCR Tests zur simultanen Bestimmung von bis zu 30 verschiedenen Translokationen bei akuten und chronischen Leuk\u00e4mien mit nur einem Test (HemaVision\u00ae, Q-Fusion). Neben der Diagnostik von Leuk\u00e4mien k\u00f6nnen auch molekulare Marker verschiedener Karzinome und Sarkome diagnostisch nutzbar gemacht werden.
