Description

ViroReal® Kit PHEV is a real-time PCR assay for detection of RNA of the porcine hemagglutinating
encephalomyelitis virus (PHEV) using one-step reverse transcription real-time PCR. This test was developed and validated for the ABI PRISM® 7500 (Fast) instrument (Thermo Fisher Scientific), LightCycler® 480 (Roche) and Mx3005P® (Agilent), but is also suitable for other real-time PCR instruments. This kit allows the rapid and sensitive detection of RNA of PHEV from nasal epithelial mucosa (nasal swabs), tonsil, brain or lung tissue (e.g. with the QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit, Qiagen).
